Utilization
The point hoist is intended for hanging decoration and scene with the possibility of their vertical relocation into different positions in the space between the gridiron and the scene floor. According to the level of outfit it is furnished with the speed control, vertical position monitoring of the lifting load, monitoring of skipping (crossing), overloading or slacking rope. The complete point hoist is placed on the gridiron. For a direction of the rope on the gridiron the equipment of the drive consists of fi xed, rotary and mobile pulleys for dropping the rope under the level of gridiron. The mobile pulleys make the positioning of the rope above the whole area of the stage possible. The pulley is fixed into a special steel grid in the gridiron. For longer distance on the gridiron the rope is supported by crack-off rollers. Crack off pulleys for additional rerouting of the rope between the gridiron constructions are to be supplied as extra equipment on demand. The point hoist is ready to be used under SIL3 control systems. The point hoists can be combined into groups with the synchronized operation. Personal transport is not allowed.
Hoist description
The point hoist consists of geared motor equipped with double stage brake and combined sensor IRC+ARC, winding-drum, snub roll with skipping (crossing) rope monitoring, crack-off pulleys, pair of rotating end switches connected by an electromagnetical clutch, rope with weight and coupling hook, frame and travel. One of the rotating end switch scans the limit positions, limit security positions and intermediate positions in the levels under the gridiron. The second rotating end switch scans the extreme positions and the exterior rotating end switch scans the safety positions during manipulation with rope on the gridiron. Rope skipping (crossing) scans the separate end switch. The immediate position monitoring is provided by the absolute encoder. Overloading or slacking rope is monitored by tensometer.
